Deb has had a passion for movement and sport since her childhood. Deb received her B.S in Exercise Science/ Health Fitness from Bridgewater State College. After College, Deb worked as a Fitness Trainer in some local gyms from Portsmouth to Portland. She then spent 10 years at Portsmouth Regional Hospital working as an Exercise Specialist in Cardiac Rehab.
After PRH, Deb dedicated herself to raising her two kids. During this time she discovered Pilates. She began her training at Northeast Pilates in Massachusetts and went on to receive her Stott Pilates Certification. Deb is also a Certified TRX Instructor.
Deb continues to attend various workshops and training sessions to stay connected with the most up to date information she can share with her clients to help them enjoy life at its fullest at any age.
When not in the studio Deb enjoys cross country skiing, running, cycling, reading, cooking, baking, and singing in the 200 women's chorus, "Voices From the Heart."
In 2016 and 2018 Deb placed 1st in her age group in the Market Square 10K road race in Portsmouth, NH. In 2019 she decided to accept the challenge and run in her first marathon, Chicago this past October. She ran for TEAM CdLS (Cornelia de Lange Syndrome) and helped raise money and awareness for this little known syndrome . Deb is very happy to have completed the marathon and looks forward to her next challenge.
